What the app processes
Market Brief AI downloads public price history for the crypto assets you add, fits models to it and stores the results on your device. Assets, settings, trained models, forecasts, backtests and logs are stored locally, in the app's own database.
The app has no account, collects no personal information, and contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting software.
Public data the app requests
To do its work the app makes requests to public services: Binance for prices, the GDELT project for news headlines, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics for inflation figures, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the Federal Reserve for market and policy data, the US Geological Survey for earthquakes, and NOAA and the National Weather Service for weather reports. Those services receive the request itself — which asset, which dates — and your IP address, as any web request does. None of them receives anything about you from the app.
On-device AI
Sentiment is scored by a language model bundled inside the app and run through Core ML on your device. The regime models are computed on your device. No text, price or result is sent to a cloud AI service.
Purchases
Plus and Pro are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles payment; the app never receives your card details. Restoring a purchase asks Apple what you own; nothing is stored with us, because there is no "us" to store it.
Permissions
The app asks for no permissions. It does not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or notifications.
Sharing
Market Brief AI does not sell or share personal information. Information may be disclosed where the law requires it.
Your control
Delete an asset and everything computed from it inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
